I'll try not to be too much of a Nazi with these, they're all pretty obvious and you should be following them anyways:
* Make every effort to keep your post reasonably long and avoid 2 line replies as they do NOTHING to advance the story line. If you can't think of at least two lines to contribute, don't waste your time posting. Admins/Mods will be enforcing this.
* Course language - I will allow an F-word here or there, but use some self discipline.
* Out Of Character (OOC) - Try and keep this to a minimum and don't clog up the RP with it. Use if you really have to, but other wise place it on a non-RP board. Use IM programs or the OOC threads.
* Don't act or talk on behalf of other 'real' characters. ie...No God Modding!!
* Avatar characters must be Real Life Actors/Actresses. Unless otherwise approved by the Admin.
* Use a proper RPG format. If your character is talking or being spoken to, make it obvious, always use quotation marks "..." and think about using bold text. If your character is thinking to themselves, use italics.
* Use spell checker dammit! And try and use reasonable grammar so other people can understand what you're trying to say!
* This is an RPG, not SMS or MSN chat, so use proper English. For example:
Bad: Colonel Sharp walked in 2 the commensary, he grabbed a plate of food and went 2 sit w/ the other peeps. "Hey guys What's ^?"
Good: Sharp walked into the commensary. He grabbed a plate of food and went to sit with the other people. "Hey guys. What's up?"
* Describe surroundings when starting a thread or moving to a new location other people can get a feel for the area they're in.
* Treat others as you'd like to be treated - cliche but true. Don't bring RL issues/arguments/grudges into the RPG.
* Respect the Chain of Command while in RP, in OOC everyone is equal (expect the Admins/Mods ) And military personnel should check twice before bossing around civilians, some of them are higher ranked than you..
* No god characters. No character is perfect.
* Have fun! That's a rule! Break it and you'll be banned
* Probably more rules to come but I can't think of anything at the moment, just use your common sense
